Selling some things for a friend and not sure if I have priced the fairly, please help. Thanks in advance
First is a gun I have not listed yet because I am just not sure what to ask for.
Colt gold cup national match 70 series in .45acp. Has been smoothed over with a trigger job, spring kit and magwell, beavertail, trigger, full length guide rod, over size mag release, hogue grips etc. Gun was originally carried when on vacation in the US and then sold to my friend who used it for IPSC. Round count is unknown but it is in very good condition and the barrel is bright and rifling sharp. Here are some s**tty pics I will do better next week.So what is a fair price?

wow..I thought it would have been more

Well, my logic is that I can buy a brand new STI Trojan for around $1300 or less if I find a slightly used one. It will be built tighter and have better sights and possibly a better trigger out of the box.

Once you start modifying them beyond a certain point the resale value starts to drop, especially when used for high round usage such as competitions.

I see a gun with all sorts of work done and I see a gun with a whole host of potential hassles...
