This is a video of 7 of the 8 stages from the IPSC Level 2 match yesterday.
I'm shooting Classic division - a 9mm DVC Classic from STI - specifically.
I really despise indoor matches; designing them so that they're interesting, challenging and you do something different each time is damn difficult. I want everyone to get a decent bang for their buck, so I aim for 7-8 stages and 130+ rounds. I have to move squads out of the ranges in 1.5 hours to get most through unless I want them to be there very early or very late. Add in the confines of two 20m long by 25 foot wide ranges and it gets even worse. Even after doing it for over 20 years - it doesn't get much easier.
I thought about stage design for this match all week. Sometimes stressing about having no new ideas. Finally on Friday morning - a couple light bulbs came on and I came up with this. I'm actually kinda proud of this one - it worked out pretty well, I think. I'm happy with it. We had 48 shooters compete - Not bad for a small section.

My result - 86xA, 26xC, 2xD 1xN/S 0xMiss - Total time = 78.08 Seconds.
Our next indoor match is our annual 2-day Spring Bang Match; which has around 14 stages on April 1 and then we get to go back outdoors - Wohoo!!!Can't wait!!!
