I like Riton products and ordered a few of these, but $100 is all I would have ever paid.

They are an optic that is routinely found heavily discounted, so much so that a quick search had them going for $40-60 U.S dollars.

He said he has 2 dozen of these coming, so people snagging 5 at a time…big surprise, they’re sold out Stay tuned to the EE for them to show up for the low low price of at least double.
We went through this with people hoarding powder, primers, some firearms. The pre bill C-21 buying frenzy was a good example of people buying multiples of handguns then doubling the price and selling them wherever they could find a desperate soul.
Enjoy your red dots, oh and watch out for Karma. :kickInTheNuts:

You’re making a lot of uneducated assumptions.

I don’t plan on selling a single one.

I bet you think everyone is just like you tho.

Karma isn’t real. It’s just a coping mechanism for poor fools.

Look who’s making uneducated assumptions now.
If everyone was just like me they wouldn’t be buying 5 at a time.
Who buys 5 optics that they have no previous experience with? Poor fools.

I also bought a new challenger Hellcat, and a new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon without ever having driven one - Not for a second had I test drove either. When I picked them up at the dealer, with my kids in tow, I didn’t feel foolish. The whole thing was pretty exciting for everyone.

I enjoy both but drive my old faithful F150 to keep them looking new.

Perhaps some people will sell them off, but people can do what if they want if they aren’t hurting anyone.

If you feel you missed out, then go buy an Aimpoint, Eotech, or Trijicon - I have several of each and highly recommend them.

For serious work I wouldn’t use a Riton. I bought these for .22’s, and I’ve got a 1301 tactical, and an Ultima Patrol in the mail right now - damn post is slow over the holidays.

I don’t run optics on my Benelli M4 or M2 but I’m going to try them on those too - that’s four of my five taken care of right there!

I also bought for .22s haha. One for my 10/22 I’m building and one for the kids 10/22.
Stop letting people on this forum judge your buying tendencies. They can keep paying full price for stuff at the big box stores. More deals for us lol.

I didn’t miss out, i saw the post shortly after it went up, but decided to pass since i don’t need any optics right now and I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for.
You have several each of Aimpoint, Eotech and Trijicon, you must have quite the collection of guns. I would say that I’m a little jealous, but I’m not, i just don’t go posting my net worth on the net for others to judge.
Perhaps you’re the exception and actually plan to use all 5 of these red dots. I won’t be watching the EE since I’m really not that concerned, and this is my last post on the subject.
So i’ll say it for the last time, enjoy your red dots.

I was pretty harsh in my initial response and we aught not be fighting amongst ourselves.

I’ll make you a deal if the mods allow it - you donate $150 to the CPC and I’ll send you one of these five, and even take care of postage.

With the tax break, that a donation allows, it’ll likely be $100 to your door.

PM me your addy and I’ll send it when I get it - My wife owns a company that sends stuff Canada Post, so we get discounted shipping.

I ordered 2 because i have 2 guns (1 air and 1 shot) that i have been waiting to find a cheap red dot to put on them.

No hoarding here and i think the fact that I was fortunate enough to be able to get 2 red dot sights for under $250 shipped to me is karma return for something that i did at another time.

I agree that we shouldn’t be fighting amongst ourselves, FYI I would have described it as voicing opinions, so no hard feelings.

As timing would have it i got a text from the Conservative Party this morning asking for more donations to which i responded with an appropriate offering.
I have also made generous (to my thinking) donations to the CFFR and the CSSA in the fight against bill C-21.
I appreciate your generous offer of the red dot however as I said before i currently have no need for any optics.
Might i suggest if you feel inclined, that you donate a red dot to the Junior Shooting Program if your range has one.
Alternatively edit your order to 4 units and donate the refunded amount to the CPC. I have dealt with Frontier in the past and I’m sure they would be happy to oblige.

Cheers, toogun.

That’s an excellent idea.
