Like anyone else, I'd like to go for trophy quality but it's the hunt itself, the details and the meat that make it for me. There have been quite a number of Deer and Moose that have rested peacefully in my deep freeze over the years. Some of their 'bone' is used as coat racks at our hunting cabin in the B.C. interior. That's my extent of trophy hunting. The one set of a European mount Deer in the picture is special because it's my first Alberta Mule Deer taken while hunting with my Daughter. I have one more set obtained since, the result of our second hunt. One of the next 'levels' I look forward to is the day I get to hunt with my Granddaughter.

Well the goose with the santa hat kinda tipped me off that there was a party goin on.:)
I'm not one to hang mounts either. If I get a special one (like yourself) then I might. I have seen some beauties!
Till then I'll enjoy others.

But seriously, where did you get that bear and the moose mounts? Did you make them? That's a great idea for decor.

The 'Bear rug' I found in a western apparel shop in Sherwood Park AB. I was purchasing a hat and pair of boots and when I saw the Bear, I 'needed' it. The Moose head between the horns of my European mount Mulie was a Christmas gift, a few years back, from my wife. In one of the pictures, there's a green Moose on the right with salad spoons for horns. That was also a gift, made by a friend. There's another Moose mount on the left and I can't recall where that one came from.
