had a brand new Trigger Tech trigger sitting in one of my AR's.
decided id enjoy it in my STAG a little more than collecting dust on a AR.
so slapped that sucker into my STAG this afternoon!

ordered today:
1) ambi mag release
2) TriggerTech Ambi Safety/Selector (i went with this one because im running a Trigger Tech Trigger and it says it works well with them.... so)
3) Radian Raptor LT Ambidextrous Charging Handle (308 AR-10 SR25)
all that with the Phase 5 should make the rifle fully ambi, will be interesting to see how it feels once they are all on.

Will a Geissele “super charging handle” - the 7.62 one fit a Stag 10? Also does a regular Norgon ambi mag release work? They also sell a heavy duty one which I assume is for the wider AR10 style lowers?
Your good with the Geissele, as per there website. The S10 is DPMS G1.
NOTE: The 7.62 SCH® is not compatible with the HK 762 Colt 901, DPMS GII, Adams Arms .308 Patrol Rifle, Daniel Defense DD5 and the Sig 716
The Norgon ambi AR15 seems to work as others have used them, but I chose to use the AR10HD specific one. But only couple of dealers here in Canada seems to carry it. I got tired of waiting and the excuses of Norgon dosen't have any in stock right now, when Norgons website and CS said otherwise. Waiting 6 months is a little ridiculous and still nothing. So I got mine from the USA.

Cool Video. I always found the Troy Ambi magazine catch to be better than the Norgon. It seems to work better for me anyways, it has a larger button to push on. I however have not tried the Troy ambi magazine catch on my Stag 10.
KAC also makes a different style ambi magazine catch too.
How do you like the Phase 5, I have one that I haven't put on my rifle yet for the winter. I am worried that it will take up too much room in the trigger guard to use the rifle with gloves, so I was waiting until spring. It looks like there is lots of room in there though.
With a tactical glove you should have more than enough room, now depending on the winter glove you are using it might get a little cramped. The Phase5 is so easy to install, I would just go for it. It's so easy in fact a one armed guy can manage to do it.

ok, so my parts made it in rather fast!
yesterday i was able to put all my parts on so now my rifle is 100% ambi-fied!
1) as mentioned before i went with the Phase 5 bolt catch.
2) i had a NEA ambi safety but i stripped it so i picked up a Trigger Tech one (why? because im running a Trigger Tech trigger and they say it works well with the trigger and it was inexpensive so i got it) i like the trigger tech ambi safety, you can set it to be a 45' throw instead of 90 and i set mine to that and its kinda neat.
3) truenortharms ambi mag release - works good
4) Radian Raptor charging handle
i played around with everything last night and it all seems to work really good together, im very impressed with it all.
i have not found any issues with hitting the mag drop with my trigger finger over the phase 5.
ill get out to the range this weekend to function test all the upgrades.
