Ambi Safety for Colt 45ACP Gold Cup Trophy

Hello All

I'm new to pistol shooting and a leftie.

Been looking for a left handed 1911 in 45acp. Wasn't comfortable paying what Maximus wants for theirs given the probable numbers of them out there.... so I bought a Stainless Colt45 1911 Gold Cup Trophy Model. It's a beautiful gun. Also one of the cheaper "Supposedly" higher end 45s out there.

Is there anywhere close to Alberta I could get an ambi safety supplied and installed.

I'm also looking at the Bersa 9mm which is full ambi. Any one have any experience with one?

You should be able to reconcile withthe right handed ejection and you can always get ambi safties and left hand mag releases to make the gun fully Left handed.

Check brownells for safties but Sean at Freedom carries them if you want to order from Canada.

Try the smith at the Calgary shooting center for an ambi mag fitting.
