What is everyone using for an Ambidextrous Safety Selector now that the Battle Arms Development BAD ASS lever can't be imported due to the US State Department?

I known Brownells won't export BAD products but are you saying Canadian retails won't be able to get them anymore?

Where'd you hear about this? My googe-fu is lacking...

I find this hard to believe

Show us. Where is this info. FACTS please.

I was one of their dealers and yes, they quite exporting after DOS had a talk with them.

It's common in this industry and most companies don't want to hire anyone to look after the paperwork for the limited market we have.

Just curious...any idea what the DOS talk was about? Seems funny they'd stop exporting if only some paperwork didn't have the i's and t's completed properly.

DOS with ITAR is similar to our firearm laws. It's not that specific.

So knowing exactly what is considered a firearm part that actually "enhances" the firearm or makes it easier to use, is sometime up for debate depending on the agent, lawyer, judge etc.

We went through this before with Blue Force Gear when DOS put a scare into them saying slings were a firearm part and controlled by ITAR.

They could spend thousands and thousands on lawyers, employees, registration etc. to get them through everything only to recoup some of their costs on sales.

And DOS walks into companies and says if you screw up it's a $25,000 min fine plus possible jail time.
