Anyone remember these guns besides me? 1200 rpm !!!! "A swarm of angry Bees".

I knew someone who had one and it was confiscated by the VPD. The owner was a pretty savvy, educated person and he fought it right up to the Supreme Court - and WON!

I don't recall the eventual fate of the gun after he got it back.

Ian McCallum's 'Forgotten Weapons' does a good review of a model.

If I remember correctly they had a 200 rnd. round magazine that sat on the top. I shot one in northern Michigan
in mid 1980's @ the Second Chance Pin Shoot. Lots of fun 4 sure.

I remember reading about the laser sighting system and how it was used in a prison setting to intimidate. I think that was around 1980 or 81.

There were two mag options - 177 rds (hence the 180 designation) and a larger plastic unit. Both were a PITA to load for a few seconds of fun.

The gun emptied either PDQ !!!

I have one.
I visited the Company Head Office in Salt Lake City and got the cook's tour.
They had the laser sights on the firing range, were sighting them in for the State of Utah Prison Service.
Mine came from Austria , not America. They were all made in Austria

Back when the Serbs and Croats were taking turns blaming each other for stuff they were all doing, I can recall seeing a picture of one side or the others soldiers armed with either the real thing, or a pretty good clone. The picture showed a clear plastic magazine, without the usual ribs that you see from the outside on the early ones, IIRC.
