American Ammo-Sometimes it sucks to live in Canada

Checking the price of factory ammunition,the US prices are certainly lower,especially for shotshells,and some rimfires.But for reloading supplies,only the gunpowder was a great deal lower.Checking out Lapua brass,my Canadian source is less than 10% higher priced than most US suppliers.Bullets were on average 15% to 20% lower priced in the USA.
 
It's sucking to live in Canada more and more every day and not only talking about firearm issues either, our government is seriously ruining this once great country!
 
My horrible math. At $1.19 litre works out to be $4.50 gallon. At $3.10 G works out to $0.82 a litre. Not counting exchange.
 
Yup, if i were in one of those american gun shops, i would probably have to take out a second mortgage! :D

Your right, I keep telling my wife that but she just doesn't get it.
If i was going to sell my home i would buy this to live in! :D
I would still need someplace to store my guns!

And THAT, my friends, is what's wrong with our international fuel agreements right now. You're looking at LESS for gas in WAIKIKI, HAWAII than you are in FORT MCMURRAY, where it's extracted from oil sands as big as a chunk of Europe, or EDMONTON where it's refined and dispensed 'fresh' from the racks.

Edmonton gas - 95 cents is the cheapest I've seen a litre in the last 6 months... which is $3.80/gal (roughly). Absolute NONSENSE.

Time for a little protectionism, frankly.

"...Americans pay pennies..." Roughly 10 times the population, lower taxes, lower shipping costs, lower wages, less government interference, a domestic firearms/ammunition industry, etc, etc.
 
Yep it sucks , i have a subscription for their catalogues . the one catalogue i got they had great deals on magazines , like 3 m14 magazines USGI no less for about 35.00 bucks for 3 on sale .

they had all sorts of ammunition on sale too , Federal xm223 for like 239.99 / 500 , surplus 9mm , surplus 7.62x54R , law enforcement buckshot flats for under 100$ . lots of brown bear , silver bear and wolf for pennies. Linked .308 , german surplus .308 , south africa .308 etc .

Who knows hopefully once they pull out of iraq the import / export bull#### will stop and theyll wake up and realize theres tons of canadians dying to buy product .
