Why dont people like the adm mounts?

because there was time where it doesnt RTZ, although ADM reconfigured their locking lever after that and according to the new owners of the mount its capable of RTZ. No experience of the newer mounts but have bad experience to the old ones. .. secondly ADM was accused of copying the Larue style which the Larue fan boys were so in Rage. lol
I myself now is looking for a Recon High Mount 30mm for my new scope .

What size of tube and objective lens is the scope?

It's a 30 mm scope with a 50 mm objective. The scope is the Bushnell 6-24x50 G2 FFP, #ET6245FG. And like I mentioned the mount is 0.885".

Unfortunately Badger doesn't sell a low 34 mm scope mount, the lowest they sell is 1.3".
