Available again at long last! A favorite of M1 Garand shooters for accurate range fun without the chance of harming the gun or making it filthy -- perfect for shooters who want to get their wartime guns out and enjoy them without fearing the eventual peening and spring damage from using modern commercial loads.

It's 150GR ammunition made to original spec with modern processes and cleaner powder for a smooth shooting, safe ammunition that will help your M1 Garands last another 70 years!

We'll ship this for $25 coast to coast -- and all subsequent cases on the same order ship for just $15 each after that!

Cheers,
Daniel

So how many rounds do we got for $260?

I don't understand, what's different about this ammo compared to other commercial 30-06 rounds that make them a problem to use in a Garand?

The combination of powders and bullet weights in most commercial .30-06 will generate too much pressure and damage the oprod.

Commercial loads may use bullets that are too heavy and powders that may have a burn rate that the Garand is not designed to use. Some People install a ported gas plug that can bleed off excess gas and most just reload with appropriate bullets and powders. It is good to see Garand safe commercial ammo on the shelf although it's a little pricey. $260 for a case of 200 is a little too much for me but I might consider going half on a case with someone.

If you can get these, can't you get the M1A .308 load? Last thing I heard it was not approved for export but maybe it changed.

Probably easier to just reload the .308 to mil specs. If you dig around here, I know I posted that info somewhere (sorry...on my phone now so I'm limited in doing it myself)

IMR 4590 I think is the powder middle load for 150 grain bullet.

Mil spec ammo also use a harder primer. But I don't have time to reload. Hence the interest for that M1A load since surplus 7,62x51 is so rare.

I have been planning to fire my Garand, say about 50 times with regular brand-name ammo which I have ... once in a while.

Will this ammo foul up my Garand or perhaps damage it .... or will it just not last another 70 years?

getting adjustable gas plug is a cheaper alternative,

you can use any combination of bullet/ powder and it'll still be safe for your rifle because the excess pressure can be adjusted to be bled out at the plug
