American waterfowl magazine has ceased production, as of May 2026.The magazine has gone from 6 issues to 5 of late years and it has become thinner and thinner all the time,so not a complete surprise that it has closed.Always enjoyed the painted pictures on the cover of the magazine and will miss those.

fewer and fewer magazines of any sort on the rack these days... hard to make a go of it in a niche market
Not the first; sadly, won't be the last! Precision Shooting, The Accurate Rifle, Small Caliber News, The Varmint Hunter Magazine, Double Gun [& latterly Single Shot] Journal, Double Gun Classics [although this was a digital only magazine] all gone to where gun mags go to die.
Rifle & Handloader are no longer the magazines they once were, back 4 decades ago. Heck, ever Guns Magazine and Guns & Ammo mags. back in the 50's & 60's were full of useful information, not just advertising fluff.
How much longer will they be around?
After Mark Harris sold Wolfe Publishing to Dan Polacek, he started Harris Publications. All of their firearms-related magazines have bit the dust too, although they did not offer anything i was interested in..

Print media is definitely a tough business these days. I do think there's a market for "Annual" issues of magazines of interest to guys on this Forum.
With the internet, if you want to read about the new Remchester Terra Incognito 300 Crudmore you can find articles, reviews, and videos with a quick search.
Lately I've been buying vintage magazines online 1920's to 1960's when the price is right. I find them very interesting.
