Americans reloading spent primers

I think I'll purchase a cross bow and a compound unit as well. With Trudeau and Biden at the helm, who knows.:(

I just dropped off about 25 pounds of used primers at the scrap yard. I think I got a $1.75/pound for them. Made enough to buy another 1000 primers and was a good recycler.:d

Good on you, as long as it was fun. Had to give that sh!t up back in the eighties.
You don't get it.....

I posted used once fired primers on EE just for fun. I got a few funny responses as I expected. No drugs were consumed since the eighties either.

Clearly there are some usable compounds out there but I really doubt there is a reliable source of actual Lead Styphnate based priming compound as is typically seen in modern primers. It is extremely poisonous and and requires great care to handle safely.

When I had my own range, Would salvage lots of lead, But I sure would not be making primers, unless it was something like a 44 henry.
I think I have enough loaded, and new pistol ammo to last me.
