hey fellas. after many years of putting aside odd rounds here and there, i was given a collection of many cartrages. now for collection value, should i clean these rounds? they were not displayed properly and they are really showing thire age. with care i can clean them up with out damaging them, however my question to put out is do they hold more value as being clean? or as not being touched?

the only confirmed military stuff i got is 8mm german mauser with what appears to be stripper clips that hold 5 rnds, and have a 1 inch hole in the center of them. the bullets are what seem to be plated with nickle? could that be? i have 5 full of these clips. any idea what these clips are?

Sounds like clips for the Gew.88 Commission rifle. Those are harder to find than hens teeth!
