How do you all store your Ammo and powder? I was considering an old fridge? I remember so older welders used to keep their welding rods in them.

I tend to buy ammo in bulk so I have one ammo can per caliber I shoot and a couple spam cans unopened. All my ammo currently resides in the safe with my rifles. However, I am starting to run out of room fast so I am going to build a 2x4 shelf to store all my ammo, range gear, and reloading components on.

I’ve got one stack on cabinet that I retrofitted 1” plywood shelves into which stores all my reloads and ammo.
Then I built in a large shelf with locking doors under my work bench that holds all my bulk ammo.
Powder gets stored in a wooden office style filing cabinet under lock and key.

Ammo in a nice locking metal cabinet that I got for free. Powder and primers in a Rubbermaid tote on a shelf in the garage.

My ammo and reloading supplies has a walk-in closet in my gun room, I'm running out of space though.

Thousands rounds of loaded ammo, thousands of pieces of brass in various calibers, thousands of projectiles. I don't know how much powder I have but it's a lot, mostly in a couple filing cabinets but they're full so it's overflowing onto the shelves in the closet, prob 6000-7000 primers in a drawer in one of the filing cabinets.
It's starting to get carried away.

I'd post pics but it's top secret, lol.

I use lockable job boxes from Princess with the different calibers separated into their own ammo boxes inside.

Bought a cheap used safe (I think it's one of the ones Costco sold) and put a few extra plywood shelves in it. Works great for an ammo cabinet, only problem is it's pretty much full now. Either I'm in need of a bigger ammo safe or I just need to shoot more...

50 cal ammo cans for primers and loaded rounds, steel ones have the best seal and handles. Power in locked wood cabinet and some in gun safe.

I wish I could store my completed rounds in something as small as a 50 cal can. I keep everything in large stackable Rubbermaid containers.

Costco had a Steel 6ft tall, 2(W) X 2(D) cabinet I got for my ammo ($139.00). It worked so well, I went back and got another for the rest of ammo. Shoot, cast, reload, and start over again. Powder storage is in half wardrobe style, fire proof locker cabinet, painted yellow from safety supplier local to Ottawa. Got to be careful not to exceed my powder limit under the Explosive Act...lol
