Just wondering how many of you think that it's the importers that are controlling the quantity of ammo being relessed to the canadian stores thus making the price of ammo go up.
I've read severial dealers posts saying that the gov't raised taxes and that the Can dollar drop has increased ammo prices.
I do believe this however I also believe that the importers have warehouses full of ammo and slowly releasing it as to raise prices. I read that there is no more norinco 223 ammo coming into canada. I have seen prices go from 25¢ to 35¢
However Shooters edge had it on for $230 a crate. Way less than anyone else. Great marketing and great store. However I assume they are not sellung it at cost either. So where did this ammo come from and why did they get it at such a low cost.
Seems that even 22 ammo is hard to find and if you do find it. The price has gone up this last year.
So what are your thoughts?
Do you think hording is justifed or will next year be back to normal?

I dont believe in tin foil hats theories.

If there is no major war.......or major dorking around by 'Merican government prices should start coming down soon.

How soon.....anybodies guess

Since they only have one sale per year, I would say TSE secured that ammo well before the dollar fluxed.

Does the US/Cdn dollar rate factor into chinese ammo?

I can't think of any consumer products that ever come down in price, can you?
