Ammo block alternatives

Depends, not on a 9mm round but for instance a 357mag reload with Campro bullet is still a lot cheaper than a factory round that costs at least $0.80 plus hst.
Totally agree, anything that's not run of the mill will still see savings. Look at buddy in that buffalo bore thread, $300 for 40 cartridges. There's also the aspect of tailoring a load to your firearm, and my favorite, mild to wild, depending how I feel.

It’s not as cheap as it used to be to be reload as the components are more costly but factory ammo prices have skyrocketed as well. You can still save substantially reloading rifle shells if you already have the equipment! I can load my small center fires with top quality components for less than $1.00 a round. Equivalent factory will cost at least double and won’t shoot nearly as well. As the caliber increases, so do the cost but take my 257 WM. I can load it for less than IMG_2860.jpeghalf of what factory costs and it’s available whenever I need some.As far as loading blocks go, as simple or as complicated as your requirements dictate!!
