Someone got a load of those boxes for peanuts way back.Pretty good use of old wooden box.If those were interior walls they might still be in a good shape.

The detritus of military surplus sometimes gives unexpected uses. I've read somewhere that the market for Browning Chinese contract shoulder stocks was so paltry, that hundreds were burnt by one surplus dealer as firewood. And another where the concrete floors of some building extension or another were reinforced by lower than salvage grade Springfield 1903 barreled actions.
