Where does everybody get their 50 round + 100 round ammo boxes.
MTM , RCBS , PLANO
I'm in eastern Ontario .
Need to organize and store some .303 British , and 7.62x54r reloads.
Anybody have a good source ?

Most places that sell reloading equipment tend to carry them. In addition to the LGS, I have seen them at Sail, Bass Pro Shops (Vaughn), Cabelas (Barrie), Ellwood Epps.

I just buy the small Plano ammo boxes from CanadianTire when they go on sale for $6.

In eastern Ontario... Lebaron in Ottawa has a good selection. More central would be site sponsor Ellwood Epps, they have lots of variety. I'm also pretty sure that SFRC (Ammo source) has some if you are around the Kingston area. And the Crappy Tire in Belleville had some options last time I was through there

You forgot the word "can" have a good selection. They definitely beat everyone on the price but they disappear fast once they get them in.

For the MTM ones I only recommend the ones with a hinge (two piece mold) and not the ones that just have a fold in the plastic as a hinge. The folded ones never stay open well.

And sooner, rather than later, that fold will break...

I buy the small plastic Plano cases from Canadian Tire. These are great for holding the day's ammo. I get the Larger MTM ones from Le Baron sports perfect for longer term bulk storage but easy to move if you have to. The MTM ammo boxes in 50 and 100 round counts are available from X-reload at decent prices for a wide variety of calibers. Not always in stock though.

I forgot to give feed back on the small 50 and 100 round Plano. They are well built but almost too well built. Most have two latches and you need two hands to open them. This didn't work for me but might for others.
Good luck and you will never have enough of theses boxes :)
