Yes beat up rusty ones.

no rust or dents and rubber gasket is in good shape, really decent condition.

Regular 50cal ammo cans are on sale for $24.99 @ Princess Auto until April 12th. They also have "fat" 50cal ammo cans around $40 (regular price) and double high 50cal ammo cans for $60 or $ 70, can't remember.
All looks brand new.

I can buy surplus ones in Regina that have seen some weather but clean up ok. $5.00 for the 30 cal style and $9 for a 105 shell box.

I've bought some of the plastic ammo cans from Crappie Tire for around $10 and they work great. Waterproof and you can bang them around without problems.

There was a time not so long ago when ammo cans were dirt cheap.....but of course I didn't have the foresight to stock up on them back then. $20 could buy you 5 of them at most places. $5 each of 5 for $20.
