I shoot nothing but non-corrosive in my current SKS, have shot corrosive in previous ones that I have owned. I'm thinking of getting a crate of ammo, would like 1200-1400 rounds if possible. What is the most accurate/quality surplus ammo and where is the best place to get some?

Can Am 4 crates for 3 right now is the best deal out there.
Think it worked out to be like $240.00 taxes in and shipped per crate.Only thing is you have to buy that amount.

It's seems pretty good. I shot 100 rounds last night and will do the same today. Then I'll tear down the SKS to have a look. It seems pretty accurate.

Rifle should be cleaned after each shoot anyways.

You gotta clean your gun anyways, whats the difference if you shoot corrosive ammo? I've never drinken the Koolaide for the NON-Corrosive marketing crap. I've been shooting regular corrosive surplus ammo since the 80's, we didn't even know what it meant. Clean your gun as you should do so normally, and spend your cash on ammo that costs half as much. I still have the same rifles from the 80's, they look brand new with tens of thousands of rounds out the pipe. When are they supposed to self-destruct from using Corrosive ammo? Shouldn't I notice it by now?

Wolverine has it 175 corrosive but if you spend like 75 more you get entered in there contest to win stuff

While I agree you should clean after shooting, It's nice to be able to leave it a day or two and not worry abut it rusting. Was out yesterday in the morning, came home and got busy. Didn't clean them till close to 11pm. Already had some little rust spots forming on the gas piston of my sks, put just shy of 200rds through it. No rust on the svt though.
