I do belong to and read other forums. A local auto forum, some motorcycle forums, and a couple of photography forums. You're right, the spelling and grammar on some posts is appalling, but you know what - I don't care what happens there.

They don't have guns, and people aren't lobbying to ban cars, motorcycles, or cameras.

They aren't pushing to ban the above items...Yet.

A lack of concern for how one uses and in many cases abuses the English language equates to having no pride, shame, or discipline. As citizens of one of the richest and most well educated nations, the display of ignorance with regards to our native language and its use is embarrassing.

A very true statement.

As far as ammo is concerned. Anything commerically available will work just fine. The accuracy of any load has more to do with the shooter than the ammo. 50 yards is extreme and any variance in sight picture, sight alignment, trigger control, etc etc will have serious effects on performance.

I'm more of a plinker, so I can't comment on accuracy. I own an M&P 9 myself. I love the gun and it functions well, but what do some of you experienced shooters think of it's accuracy?

It is a LE gun in my view. Mine is dead nuts reliable and as accurate as a defensive pistol needs to be. With the stock trigger, 4 1/4" barrel accuracy even from a bench is limited I think to 25 yards. A target pistol in it's stock configuration it is not.

At 50 meters I know I can hit a man size target somewhere most of the time and center of mass from a bench. IF you are looking for a bullseye gun then in my view the polymer LE guns are not on the list of must haves.
