Ammo for Snider-Enfield?

I've been shooting my snider with a .590 round ball seated inside the case on a cardboard over-powder card over 50 grains of Goex FFG. I then "wax" the ball inside by dripping candlewax over it. Not only holds the ball in but also acts as a lube. Not crimping or sizing the case makes them hold up a little better as well. 've been going a little overkill with the primers as I had few old vihtavouri magnum rifle primers to use up. This combination shoots quite well out of my shortened Snider.....
 
Similarly I use the .590" round ball with success. I load it over 70 grains of FG with a card wad and then the ball which just shows at the case mouth. I then add enough of my beeswax mixture over the ball to level the case mouth. Ball stays put and the lube does as it is supposed to. Dave

Who carries the .590 round balls?. I have been having trouble finding them.

I will take you up on that...I didn't realise you had ball molds as well.

Lee Precision has these moulds I believe. If I remember correctly they come in .010" incriments. Lee moulds are the cheapest but are made of aluminum so they require a somewhat different casting method than a steel mould. I have two, a RB and a conical bullet in .590" and they work very well.
