ammo in Glock

learning this now, I'm a little pissed.
when I asked for 9mm luger, he handed me the markov, I almost didn't notice. when I did, I said it was the wrong one. He picked it up, looked at it, and said it would work fine for my 9mm.
he seemed to be impatient with me (there was a guy waiting behind me, and again, being new to this sport, I assumed he would know better than me what works, what is different and what is the same - he works in a gun store - I don't).

Wasn't the 9mm makarov developed to get around places which had bans on NATO ammo? They shortened the case by 1mm and branded it differently, viola, problem solved.

Seem to remember reading that in my loading book.
 
I actually bought two boxes - since I do not need them - if someone wants them - let me know.

the soviet issue pistols of the mid to late 20th century, for starters. Still amazed your gunstore had some :D

Nice of you to give it away. They won't take it back? They did, after all, misinform you. But I would understand if you never want to set foot in the place again ;)

Take it back to the store and make the guy eat it. Then wait for the first fart.

you know buddy your lucky you did'nt shoot any of those in your Glock as you could have had a case rupture and the gun blowup in your face . you should go back to the store and ask for the owner and tell him what happened . you could have held them accountable if you were injured . don;t talk to the moron who sold you the 9mm mak rounds for your gun and bring your biggest buddy' s with you . if I knew you that would never have happened . and if it did they would have had such an earful when I was done buddy more than likely would have been fired . a this point I;m lost for words that I;d be able to post on this web as to what I think of the person who sold you what they did as it would be deleted . Period !!!!!!!! KNOB !!!!!!:(
 
You know,

I'd at least go back and talk to someone in charge there.

This guy could be doing the same thing to others and someone will risk seriously damaging their gun or injuring themself due to his ignorance.

This is as bad as a tire store putting on tires too big for your rims and letting you drive off...there is a SERIOUS liability and SERIOUS hazard issue here. This isn't a small mistake, certain services undertake a large amount of liablity and responsibility for the services and products they provide.
Trust me, the owner/manager will be grateful to hear this... the last thing he needs is someone blowing up their gun or worse and suing his store.
