Gentlemen,
Here is a file about the 1941 Estimates for that Fiscal Year on Ammo.
Notice the breakdown of how all ammo was to be setup. Do you see anything missing from this Breakdown ? Or is it a standard Order Load out.
I think your input here would be of interest not only to me but to all the other guys who take the time and effort to read this data. TIA

Interesting that they canceled the orders for the linked ammo. Also, didn't the ammunition for the M1s come in the En Bloc clips, not 5 round clips?

I'd love to shoot a 1911 with tracer ammo :D
 
The first one "Ctg. Ball Cal 30 M2 - Cartons" is probably the order for the M1. The seperate mention of the 5-round clips is for the M1903 Springfields, because at the time they probably still had alot of M1903's in issue after all it was early 1940 but they mentioned the clip size as the M1 was the standard issued right so a 8 round clip for it didn't need to be mentioned as needed but a special order for the clips for the M1903 probably was needed. :)
