ammo preference in 16" AR

I was at the range today, and had my holosight equipped AR15 carbine set at 50y with WWB 55gr.
I tried some Norinco 55gr and it was in the same area, but had a wider spread (not to mention it stinks)
I also tried some AE 55gr and it was about an inch high and an 1.5" left, but grouped better. I must have gotten a bonus as I had a box of 62gr AE from ??? in the case I had purchased and it grouped very well, and was hitting where the WWB55gr was hitting.
NO FTF or FTE.

I found my 16" carbine like 62 grain the best.

It's more a question of barrel twist than length (at least thats what she said??)

Ahem, anyhow 55-69gr is the sweet spot for 1 in 9 barrels. 69gr Sierras have grouped very well in my 1 in 9 Bushmaster, and it likes 62 gr as well.

I have a 1/7 twist 16" barrel on My AR-15 and it loves 69 grain Sierra Match Kings on top of 24.5 grains of varget.

0-100, my 16" likes 55 grn. after that 62 grn. seems alot tighter.
