Ammo Sale at Peavey Mart. any problems in a ruger 10/22

There is going to be a customer appreciation day this friday and saturday at Peavey marts in saskatchewan. They are selling American Eagle 22lr hollow points for $1.69 regularily priced at 2.29 each. Has anyone ever had any problems firing these in a ruger 10/22 before I buy my whole summer suppy of ammunition??

edit: its for a box of 50 lead hollow points or 40 copper hollow points i think. any ideas which work better in a ruger 10/22
 
i shoot american eagle 40gr solids in my 10/22 they shoot great i don't benchrest target just small game hunting and plinking here and there have had good luck with them and are fairly accurate just purchased 5000 rounds of 40gr solid at 1.87 per box or 187.00 plus tax for 5000 supply was getting low that was a good price, wish i lived in that area at 1.69 a box for hollow points is a great deal they are more money than solids if there is no box limit i would stock up cause ammo prices are on the rise again
 
didnt know about this sale. Im going to stock up. Is hollow point copper better than lead for gophers??
 
I don't know about the hollow points but the standard lead american eagle does not cycle well/jammed in my 10/22. I have a brick i never use cause it has given me so many problems. Switched to blazer and have had absolutely no problems.
