Ammo Stash

i just snagged 500 rounds of American Eagle and 500 rounds of CCI CB Shorts. the guy at the gun shop said ammo was going to go up another 30% on the next shipment. they only had the 1 brick of American Eagle, otherwise i would have grabbed 3 or 4.

yeah, it's getting stupid. 6 months ago, i was buying 500 rounds of AE for 15.99. now it's 29.99. the next shipment will be sold at 40.99 or higher. :mad:

give me 5 million dollars to start my own Canadian ammo company, and i'll guarantee your money back at 15% interest in 5 years or less. 500 rounds of .22LR of my ammo will sell for 12.99 - 15.99. .223 will be 8 - 10 bucks a box.

seriously, if a Canadian would start manufacturing quality Canadian ammo, and marketing exclusivley to Canadians and good prices, that person would make a killing. the problem is the overhead (research and design, manufacturing etc). :(

btw, that AE is $5 a brick cheaper if you were to have gone 20 mins east. i looked at it there but really couldnt justify buyin it at that price
