Ammo Stash

How do you like the Wildcats?

I was going to buy a couple bricks but haven't used any before and was flipping back and forth between them and the Winchester 22 Xpert. Both are around $20.00 where I shop.

To be honest, I havent even opened this brick yet. I got it maybe 3 days ago. I'll try some out next time I'm at the range.

That stash is trash!:D

I just LOLed. :D

Bought me a brick each of the following from Target Shooting Products:

Lapua Super Club
Lapua Centre-X
Eley Team
Lapua Master M (I think, I forget)

That'll bring my total past the 10k mark. Still, a LONG way to catch Eagleye, who obviously has more 22LR than most GUN STORES in Canada.

Wildcats are good in some guns. Example: don't use wildcats in a Ruger 10/22 with an aftermarket magazine. Wildcats only work in a Ruger 10/22 with the OEM rotary mags. Other mags jam wilcats.

Most other (non 10/22) .22 rifles jam with any ammo so I cannot offer advice for them. Wildcats work great in a Ruger Mark III. If you want to avoid jams with HyperV loads, use Stingers.

SHHHH!! Don't want anyone making a run at my "stash" :D :D Eagleye. BTW, the guys at Target Shooting Products are very accomodating. If you find a lot number of some target ammo that your rifle(s) like, they will send you more of that lot number if they still have stock. EE.

Yes, I have found Peter K.'s service to be excellent so far. Hopefully my stuff will arrive before my first ever match on April 4, so I can try them out beforehand (or be forced to use my one measly box of Tenex... ;)).

I didn't feel much like lugging out several cases of 22 ammo to take pics of, but here is a couple of pics of the various types I have on hand. Only small quantities of the Aguila and the Winchester Silhouette, but a fair bit of the other run of the mill stuff, and large quantities of the high end target ammo. Regards, Eagleye.
