Yeah I had problems with that same junk in my APC. Haven’t shot it since, it’s been sitting in a box labeled NFG. Don’t even want to sell it to anyone, I would feel bad!

Just bought a 1000rds of the Federal stuff....first 60rds worked perfect with good accuracy. Have a new WK(one of first 40). I'll let everyone know how the next 940rds go

I have 2500 rounds of the AE 55 gr FMJ. It doesn’t shoot as good as the Nosler custom 60gr or the Hornady steel match 55gr hp but is significantly faster by a couple hundred FPS and goes bang every time you pull the trigger.

I have fired roughly 500 rounds of Federal AR556 through my Colt Canada MRR and Daniel Defense M4, I have had no issues. The one thing I noticed is the Federal Independence 55gr XM193 ammo actually raised my POI at 50m by about a foot over PPU .223 55gr ammunition.

FYI Independence is rebranded milspec IMI M193. Shows you the WK180 is only meant to run civy .223 and not 5.56x45.

While reloads void all warranties, I have not heard of a reputable manufacturer refusing warrant work when an owner admitted to using reloads unless the gun blew up.

I’ve also shot a few thousand rounds of Federal AE and XM193 without a single issue. The first and only problem I’ve had with federal has been the Independence branded ammo.

Obviously, I am a member if I posted this, I havent been super active on this forum, until the WK was introduced. I dont care if it costs 1 dollar to be able to post pics, the forum owner can make up what ever justification he wants to charge for posting pics, I dont believe in it.

Indepemdance ####ed up big time in my WK.

20 failures out of 100. Including blown primers. Mumtiple stuck casings and failures to extract.

I dont think this rifle is safe to shoot with 5.56. Im lucky I didnt hurt myself
