Ammo with no headstamp ?

Not sure if this is a milsurp issue, but will try here first.

I have a bunch of ammo with no headstamp, details as follows:

8mm Mauser (haven't put a micrometer on it, but 99% sure)
15 rd cardboard boxes with no markings
Brass case
Metal FMJ spitzer bullet
Steel coloured primer crimped with small stake marks at 3,6,9,12 o'clock
No headstamp

A quick search claims possible Portuguese 1970s production, but nothing definitive.

Any ideas, and more importantly has anyone ever used it ?

My 7.62x54 milsurp I got from traddex has no headstamp,brasswashed steel,corrosive,works well!
