Ammopal shot shell dispensers

Anyone ever used one of these? Spring loaded for 12 gauge shells, clips to a belt and will dispense 10 rounds one at a time, to be used for quick reloads. Price seems to double in Canada.

US around $30, almost $60 on Amazon here. Why are they slow and are they likely to jam or whatever?

idk how the shells are extracted, but it looks like it would be faster to reload than taking shells from a pocket or dump pouch? At least the shells are oriented.

its a strong spring that hold the rounds like a pistol mag if you fill the mag the rounds at the begining are hard to take out,your better off with one of these.

Yeah, but try and find one. When I was still dealing with Brownells, or trying to, they were consistently sold out and no other place had even heard of them.

Good to know. Not an easy page to use, but they do have them in multiple capacity sizes.

I remember these, iirc Dillagaf had a thread on them. Not a bad concept but they’re so bulky, can’t see them being all that comfortable to have on your belt while out in the bush. A Velcro shot card is slimmer and with little work can be mounted to a belt, put 2 more in a pouch or use S&J’s DSC pouch and you have more shells than you’ll need.
