Reasonably priced 8x57 JS soft point (8mm Mauser). Lot of us have K98, M48 etc. It is interesting that price for this round (box of 20) goes from $24.99 to $ 40+ for S&B brand, depending on the vendor. Norma is already at $50+.And shipping on top of that just destroys the wallet. Anything for around $30 would be ok.

In the US forums we're always reading how 303 British "Greek" surplus is readily available. Considering how many of us "older guys" were raised on Enfields, it's really depressing to see how easy it is for these guys south of the border to get surplus 303 but we can't. Is there any way you can wangle a deal on getting some of this rerouted here?

Then there's 8 x 57 or more technically I suppose 7.92 x 57. Same story. I too have a K98 and a Bosnian Serb M48 sniper that I love to shoot. It would be nice if we could get some of this stuff here too. Not howling and whining, just stating a desire to get some if it could be had, if possible.
