Ammunition in bulk

I seem to be having a hard time locating 124gr 9mm ammunition (factory or reloads), in greater than box quantities. (ie: Wholesale only had around 450 rounds in their store)
I have tried reloaders, but they are having supply/production problems, as are factory ammunition dealers. I am talking quantities in the 3000-5000 range.
Can anyone explain what is going on, is it because resources are going to Iraq and other hostile areas?
Not trying to stir or complain, but just want to know why?
Is the 124gr really popular now? I never noticed a supply problem with 147gr.

yep.(talked to a couple of places) Not sure when next shipment of 124gr will be in. I suppose I could stick with 147gr, but I think the 124gr would be generally easier to shoot for double taps.

I actually ordered my last shipment of 3000rds of 147gr from them at the end of the summer. I have depleted my supplies. I want to try 124gr for a change.

I found the 115 gr bullet works great, less recoil and muzzel flip.
