I am fairly new to shotgunning. I just came into an older berretta AL2 gas operated semi-auto that I will be using for upland birds and hopefully he odd waterfowl shoot. I bought the run of the mill Federal #6 1 ounce shot from Canadian Tire but then read a brief comment on another post that semi-autos don't cycle one ounce shot? Is this accurate? The gun has a fixed full choke so I likely won't use steel shot in it based on other information I have read here. Are tungsten loads suitable?
What loads do you suggest for upland and waterfowl in this gun?
