It's not made any more. AMT went bankrupt due to poor quality issues and a frivolous law suit filed by several California municipalities that was dismissed on appeal(Seven years of court action and legal fees though.), in 1999.
Any Hardballer you find will be used and of mediocre quality. AMT pistols weren't know to be reliable.
The current incarnation of High Standard owns the name and makes some AMT pistols, but not the Hardballer.
You won't likely find a pink pistol either. However, you could have any pistol Duracoated in pink. There are pink stocks available for AR's too.

The pink is for sure not for me!!lol....looking for my girlfriend. To be honest i am looking for the AMT for the look mainly but obviously to shoot also. Thanks for the feedback or if anyone knows someone who may have one.

"...one of the .30 cal carbine AMT's..." That's one that High Standard does make. The Automag III. Big bugger. It weighs 33 oz. empty. Runs $500 to $600 plus, Stateside.

I have seen several Hardballers go though the EE here. Look at a Sig Mosquito in two tone pink/Blk for the GF. Tidy looking pistol.

They appear on the EE from time to time but I don't think there were big numbers sold in Canada. Kinda scarce...

Good luck with the Longslide AMT.....I had one, and I tell you Shaneo, they are nothing but trouble functionally.
