Is there an AR variant in 7.62 x 51mm that is non-restricted?
If so who carrey's them?

Any firearm based on the AR automatically becomes restricted, no matter the caliber .

Yes, there are AR variants in 7.62x51. At this time they are all restricted.
There is hope that the LWRC SABR will be non-restricted ... but don't hold your breath.

Please, pray tell, why should I hold my breath? If the classic green is non-res, I don't see why the SABR should be restricted.

First off let me state that if these are imported I will not be getting one ... I'll be getting two - one unrestricted 20" and one 12.5" restricted.

Now, I admit it ... I'm jaundiced. The whole C-17, C-68, OIC#13, C-10A, and the FA in its entirety have made me hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
Perhaps you are too young to have known the freedoms that we once knew and have not yet felt the pain and anguish of being deprived of your legally obtained property?

I won't even start to get into the idiocy of current U.S. State Dept and BATFE regulations that may prevent us from acquiring these.

LWRC if they bring the Canadianized version in hopefully they make a 18.5" barreled version specifically made for us.
