An interesting Brno bolt

The bolt is from a Brno single shot target rifle with target sights that was donated to the Club's youth program.
The safety selector extends to the rear and cannot be moved . . . as if there is no safety. The bolt handle has a decided bend to it.

Any idea as to which model this bolt would apply to?

The safety is definitely from a BRNO model 1, the lever should move to the right . The bend is custom for sure. Many of these fine rifles were used by DCRA as target rifles for youth

While it is in the youth locker, it has a normal length of pull so our juniors are essentially limited to 12 year olds . . . give or take.

Is it a two stage cocking bolt?(1/2 on the eject and 1/2 on close)
If so the safety may not be able to move until the bolt is fully cocked and held by the sear.

Something I will check on the weekend. Thank you

Jan 21: It cocks by just raising the bolt.
The safety lever will not move so as to freeze the firing pin.

A previous entry in the EE shows pictures of a similar bolt.
The one on EE has BRNO on it but there are not stampings on this one.
I have had the bolt apart more than once.
May now take the rear sight off and put a scope on it to check accuracy potential.
Trigger is around 1.75 lbs., and the entire trigger is boxed in so that it is beyond my capabilities. There are some adjustment screws but no idea what they are for but would guess creep and engagement.
Don't adjust what is working.

Good luck. Do keep us posted about the outcome.
My DCRA BRNO has 2 adjustment screws as well. One adjusts the pre-travel and the second adjusts the sear engagement.
I agree with the don't adjust what works thinking.
