An interesting Para

Looking for some info as the Gun is not saying much.

Of note did Para ever sell these without the paddle on the thumb safety?

Looks like it has "broken off" or its been "removed".

I have seen one. Its a hybrid double action it will not fire if you don't rack it first similar to a PPX. The hammer has no spur.

Obviously, if you don't rack the slide, you won't chamber a round.

So I know it is an LDA (Light Double Action).

Trying to find out more info on the missing paddle.

They finish seems to be the same so I am thinking factory, but the person at Para (USA) said he cannot recall that config.

The thumb safety was, at least in later guns, always "active" - it was pretty redundant though, that's actually a good idea if you're using the gun for competition. They may have made that config available for competition shooters who weren't allowed to remove a factory safety.

Besides the obvious it will not #### the hammer.. It doesn't go back it go all the way forward and shoots like a DA from there.
