Propriety action accepting AR components under six pounds in a .308 class cartridge. Troy PAR, MRA etc. don't come close for weight in .308 based that I've seen?

but is that really because its a straight pull, or because its a savage and is the way it is? I don't think the sales are an issue of the "straight pull" by itself.

Cool to see it's more of a SIG cross style gun with a straight pull than yet another AR 10 without a gas system.

I'd take an MRA Maverick meself over the BCA MBA rifle. Straight line recoil and no bolt coming out through the rear of the receiver towards the shooter's face. Faster to operate due to the spring assisted bolt return. Easy to switch over to right or left hand operation. Well covered by the aftermarket and not too porky if configured right for shooter preference.

The Maverick I want would have a 16" barrel in 375 Raptor.
