An introduction

Hey everybody,

I've been lurking around the site here now for a while, checking it out almost daily and trying to learn what I can. I'm finally taking the course for my non-restricted pal this weekend and I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself to the forum as I'll probably have a few questions in the near future :)

I'm in the Burlington area and have taken a look around at some local clubs (online only), does anyone have any recommendations out this way? It'd be nice to be able to learn some basics and to me, sporting clays looks like a helluva lot of fun. Any clubs around Burlington/Hamilton that offer this?

I'm really looking forward to all of this!

Ryan

Hello and welcome. I'm in Nova Scotia and can't help with clubs in your area, but I'm sure there are those here who can. Enjoy the site.

Welcome aboard. I'm not too far away from you...... in the Milton area. If you want to try your hand at skeet/trap shooting and want to stay fairly local, you might want to check out Waterdown Rod & Gun Club. They shoot every Sunday (except the third Sunday of the month, when they shoot elsewhere) starting at 10am. I stopped in to have my first look at the place last weekend and I couldn't get over how friendly everyone was. Of course there is always the Burlington Gun Club in your own backyard. Hamilton and Brantford also have clubs.
