An other one of Guntech's rifles

I had Dennis put this together a while ago.Had him true the action and and install a Krieger barrel with 5R rifling,cut it to 26in and chambered in 6.5x55.Muzzle is 1 inch.He bedded it in an HS stock,before base and rings etc weight is 13.5 lbs.I added Ken Farrell rings and bases and a Sightron SlllSS 8x32x56.

5R is just a different way of doing things, not a better one in fact 5 groove barrels can be harder to measure

Had out today,not a nice day raining and not nice for us Islanders.5 shot group.

I think it should be ok.The new scope is a lot different then the Leupold.Need more range time.

Beautiful looking rig!! I've had Dennis build several for me, and have always been satisfied with the results.
What is the twist on that Krieger? If 1-8", you must try the Berger 140 VLD.
My Sorensen - built 260AI with a 26" 1-8 Krieger shoots lights out with that bullet and H4831SC

I do have a few different bullets to try;
140g Matrix
140g Berger VLD
140g JLK YLD

My Nephew has a 260AI built by Dennis and shoots the 140 Berger bullets with H4831sc.Will have to grab a couple of his bullets to try. lol.

I am the one that bought the stock pouch.

for the life of me though I can't remember where I got it. I ordered it on-line about 4 years ago or so

It is the Eagle Industries Stock pack. Google that and there are plenty of places that sell them including ebay.

I don't think it was that expensive like 30$ or something +shipping
