The chamber end looks like a Browning with the notches that are used when adjusting the head space and timing in the barrel extension.
 
Back end certainly looks Browning enough, but what about all that stuff up at the front end?

What is the length, thread, et cetera, chamber diameter, bore up at the muzzle.

Almost looks like a blank-fire adapter to me.

And there WAS a .22RF conversion unit for the 1919 Browning, too.
 
The front face large threaded part at the muzzle end looks like the 1919 front barrel bearing (recoil muzzle boaster) that threads into the jacket. Amazing stuff, I never even knew there was a .22 sub cal kit. Now that would be a blast to have a full size 1919 in .22

That stuff at the front is to run the recoil mechanism. They used a similar system similar in concept to the colt 1911 ace floating chamber.
