Howdy ladies and gentlemen!

We have a real treat for you today. The AN/PVS-2 scope! It was used extensively through the late Vietnam war and for decades thereafter. It is a fixed 4x power Gen 1 Green Phosphor NV scope. Usually they are pretty scuffed and sad, but this one is looking like it just went into storage yesterday. It comes converted to AA batteries and with a number of other great accessories - so it is READY TO ROCK AND ROLL.

Quite a weight difference with the Elcan's that mount is designed for, and they had enough problems with them at that weight IIRC.

I'll try to answer everyone's questions here:

6lbs! Yes! It's very heavy! When it was first introduced, if you mounted this to an m16a1 you'd have doubled its weight!

Restock? If we fine more, you betcha, but this was a difficult find and we don't expect to see more floating around, but if we do we will absolutely grab it for the store.

Does it mount to a carry handle? If you remove the picittiny adapter I believe it does

I just received the AN/PVS 2 in the mail….I’d looked for one for years, and even nixed the idea of importing one
from the US over fear of running afoul of Homeland Security. I’ll post a few pics in the near future but my expectations
regarding its performance are pretty low. Sorry to those who snoozed & losed(sic).
Thanks a bunch Sam & crew. Looking forward to future dealings.

Excited to hear your thoughts and so glad it arrived so quickly! I think you might be surprised with it's level of performance given it's age. Definitely not a modern device by a long shot, but it's no slouch!
