An Ugly Little Antique

I received a number of old prohibs a while ago and one of them had me stumped for months. I found information in the Gun Collector's Digest 5th Edition. It turned out to be a flair gun in 9mm and will eventually be deregisterd.
I have some pictures and thought I would get your opinion.

temporarily is an optimistic word! Kinda like pepper spray but with velocity on top of the BTUs LOL.
