Somebody shared this link with me and I figured you guys would find it interesting :)
http://candrsenal.com/firearm-anatomy-eight-pistols-of-wwii

It covers the P38, M1935A, Beretta Model 1934, Webley Mk. IV, the Tok, Nambu Type 14, 1911 (well DUUUUUUHHHH) and the Chinese Model 1900 Copy. Enjoy :)

Interesting, but it almost looks to me to be an article written by someone that happened to have those eight handguns to write about, rather than being definitive coverage of the primary-issue military handguns of those particular countries.

The No. 2 Enfield revolver was the primary military handgun of the United Kingdom, and Browning High Power, a.k.a. P'35 ... what sailor123 means by the BHP ... was (officially, at least) the primary-issue handgun of China, both in Belgian-made originals and the Made-in-Canada Inglis version.

Thanks for the clarification. I would have loved to have shot the Hi Power as it's been used by our guys and gals for so long. I'm more of a long gun guy (love my poodle-shooter :D) but appreciate a bit of history :)

I love shooting both my Inglis High Powers .... :canadaFlag:

.... and, yes, our troops have been using them for a long time .... 70 years now!

I assume that is part of what the instructor standing there is supposed to be doing .....

His face is showing that he's trying to get over the gag reflex in addition to the depressive thoughts about him only being one of many for that training session  With that being said, we all had to start at some point and while I'm no marksman by any stretch of imagination, I shudder remembering how I used grip the pistol

I'm really surprised at the omitting of the Hi-power; and nope I don't have one ( so it's not my heeero...that'd be the Luger arriving in a few days:dancingbanana:). It was used by Canada, Germany, China and god knows who else.
I'm going with the "This is my collection, therefore they are mostest important" theory as Rattlesnake Jack put forth
