anyone in the lower mainland turned off from IPSC with this, me and a couple other shooters are going to be attending the USPSA matches at custer any time we can just to get more match experience under our belt. It's a good option and no black badge required
 
Nope, no movement, I've got a list of people they want me to apologize to, people who have nothing to do with what happened even. Hell the list even includes people who I did apologize to, who responded back that they either didn't even know about but now found it funny, or did know about it and found it funny or didn't care (that would be the awesome 3 guys who were the National match directors, and the only ones who should have actually been involved with a complaint of this nature, but weren't, weird huh?)
On top of that they still fail to understand that they have violated their own rules with the original suspension, and even the way they handled the original complaint. Which by the way didn't come from either of the individuals who received the gift cards.
I'm not interested in blowing smoke up the asses of morons, so you won't be seeing me at any IPSC matches locally, other than the ones we do at Abby. I will still be attending some international matches, not going to say which ones until after I've shot them though, don't want to get the MD's in trouble for extending the invites to me. But it's good to know there are decent people still involved with the sport.
 
I have been reading this thread on and off Slave.....and the end result, well the whole thing really is a farce.....I compete myself, but not to the extent that you do obviously but to show my support for you to continue competing regardless of the outcome of this mess I am going to step up and offer you a sponsorship......yes you read that correctly.......I am going to supply you with a DQ ice cream cone at the end of every sanctioned match that you attend during the 2013 shooting season.....

I hope others will follow my lead and also support a canadian shooting athlete and buy them ice cream cones at Dairy Queen at the end of a match....and paying thanks to all those that compete and get our sport out in the spot light in a positive and safe manner......

he cant attend sanctioned matches.... thats a pretty safe sponsorship ;) well i suppose he could show up an stand around, that counts as attending right lol

I'm in abbotsford too...where are the closest locations?? How is the border with firearms these days?
 
good heavens this is crazy, are shooting sports not suppose to encourage shooting , not ban shooter because of silly jokes good lord no wonder we as a community can't get our stuff together ...
 
Sigh, currently working on the whole USA thing for a completely different reason. At least that's a legit ban though, not a weasel #### stupid ban. Oh wait, can't go expressing my my personal opinion, might piss the BOD off even more for not respecting their, [cartman] authoritay [/cartman]. Whatever
