Just broke it off with the g/friend, she says she hates me in hunting season, told me I was wayyyyy different, not kidding, then she got all bent out of shape like girls do when things come apart, then I giggled a little, then she went and pushed over my camper (no damage though) then I jacked up the camper, put it on the truck and drove away looking forward to hunting tommorow. TRUE STORY

WIFE:"Your so selfish, all you ever talk or think about is guns guns guns, bow, bow, bow, hunting, hunting hunting :!: "
Is'nt there anything else you can talk about :?:
ME: "I wonder where I'll icefish this year :?: "

True story...Just today me and a fellow teacher were jawing about hunting and buddy's wife works in the school too. She says sumpin about hunting season...he says "I love it" she then looks at buddy and says when was the last time you said "I love you" to me? He replies "I told you 30 years ago if anything changes I'll let you know!"

She pushed over your camper? Was it unstable, jacked up real high or did she have try outs for a CFL team to be a linebacker

I think something was unstable and not the camper

Yes Fogducker, I get the same at home. I got a real nice blacktail on the weekend and the wife says if I fondle those antlers one more time I am in trouble. As for the smell, I just might try this bath thing she keeps telling me about

The gf gets sooo pissed off at this time of year.

I could care less, as I made it clear when we met (and always will) that the months of October-November will be for me ONLY. I will not be home so please do not schedule anything during those months.

But, of course, she goes ahead and makes plans and of course I can not be there. Oh ya, and she had the nerve to think I would be here on her birthday next week... will she never learn!!!

I'm looking forward to ya's going deer hunting , so many reasons

Big bed to myself, watch what I want on T.V. , less beer to buy ( hmm.. maybe ) this is also the time I pick a room to redo! 8) I do get lonely when he's away... but it's a good lonely.

Just think dumbdawg... soon I'll be coming with you! So, I shall enjoy this time alone while I can lol  Luv ya!

My wife can hardly wait till I go for 2 weeks of deer season. She says those are the best quiet 2 weeks of the year. After being married to me for 30 years she knows not to book anything for those 2 weeks. She says when I am dead come hunting season my grave will be EMPTY.   DAN>>>
My birthday is Nov.11 & we have never celabrated(sp) together, but the guys did have a pie with a glow stick in it one year for me. 8)

My hunting partner had his 25th wedding anniversary while we were in the bush hunting moose. They have only been together 3x on their anniversary.

Wife

My wife has learned not to fight the fever i get in hunting season cause if she does she loses. So that being said she had a hard time accepting the extra trip i'm going on next year, ( with out saying much). That must be love.

there is neaver an arguement over my hunting......she enjoys the time to herself..she just makes me do all the dirty work...from field to freezer...then she takes over :D from freezer to table..
wish i found this woman 30 years ago
cheers all

I used to have all types of trouble with my wife and hunting season. Moose hunting always fell on her birthday and I got in sh*t everytime I even thought about going
but always went anyways just didn't get talked to for a week after I got home. Then some how are annivesary also falls during Mule deer season, fall was awfully quiet at home. Now she has totally given up and is starting to ask me to go hunting so she doesn't have to listen to all the hunting talk. Life is getting better every year.

I just got married for the first time at 49 and my wife said to me last spring some time" I will never tell you you can't go shooting" That sealed the deal for me.
