And the new cal in the ruger african 77 this year is....

A 9.3x57 would be cool as well. Probably wouldn’t be very popular though

I can't imagine that would be popular with the availability of 9.3x62 rifles. At least with the x62 you can get factory ammo and properly head stamped brass without needing a second mortgage...

7x64B, 300H&H, 358 Norma Mag, or 404 Jeffery would interesting. I think Ruger did the RSM version in 404J but not many were made.

.300H&H would have a warm home in my safe, occasionally coming out to play. Someone (cough...cough...Ruger..........AAAACHOooooo...Winchester) needs to chamber this in a new rifle.

The .280 AI cartridge doesn't make sense to me in the African platform. It is by and large a "mountain" cartridge in a very "non-mountain" rifle... that is not to say that it would not do well on the African plains or the Canadian plains for that matter, but it just seems incongruous... but that fact gives me hope that perhaps Lipsey's might consider some other slightly "off kilter" combinations such as a No.1-A .348 Win, or No.1-RSI in 7-30 Waters.
