I currently have a fab defense carbine kit (glock 17 mos) that I love, but the angstadt arms udp9 has caught my eye and I am thinking of buying one. Does anyone have experience with these? What are your thoughts?

I know nothing about it, but I do like the look of the thing. I'm also the proud owner of several thousand rounds of 9mm I currently have no use for.

I'm curious about this little critter...

I almost bought one from Firearms Outlet, seems to be the only place I could find them. Ended up with a PSA dedicated 9mm. Glock mags were a must for me. The compatibility of Glock mags and 9mm ammo makes for a great shooter.

Short 9mm Ar's appeared to be the closest thing to an MP5 I could build or buy and its a great gun to use in Steel and pistol ranges.

Can't actually comment on the UDP its a little more expensive than the PSA, apparently Irunguns has some 5" barreled PSA's coming in?

I run one of their BCG in my 9 mm build, the fit and finish is top notch, if the rest of the gun is made the same way I wouldn't give a second thought on buying one.

From the 2 online reviews I saw that weren't advertisements, the hold open seems to be very reliable with genuine glock mags but less consistently with ETS and magpul mags. But I'm not sure if this is actually / still the case.

Got plenty in stock and more than happy to discuss details with you, one of our local shooters in the club picked one up for himself and I am more than happy to get the details from him on first hand shooting ( not coming from one of us! )

I own one, quality is incredible.
Photobucket crapped out on me, so I'll post a pic when I have the chance

Mike has one, he knows! They are absolutely beautiful!

This... Glock mags run great, aftermarket can have a hit and miss effect.

Thanks Wolverine 303. I am pretty sure I will be buying an angstadt arms udp9 once my glock 17 fab defense package sells. It looks like an awesome setup.

It got a little wet in the snow

but you get the idea

Hello gents. I've got a brand new one. Haven't had time to take it out yet, and a few other items caught my eye.. so it's listed on the ee at least until a few other things move. Gorgeous build quality. I can knock off some of the expensive kit if someone wants it for less (law tactical folder, muzzle device etc)

Cheers,
Armand

So I have heard that without upgrading the standard Glock magazines (17/10) to Wolff extra power springs, the last round bolt hold open may not work. Has anyone experienced this? I'd like to confirm before I spend any time and money tracking some springs down.

I had this problem with mine; I purchased six Glock factory mags, and needed to upgrade the mag springs. Works like a charm now.
